Central Florida Roots
A Local Path into Dentistry
Dr. Mainak Patel grew up in Central Florida and graduated from Winter Park High School. An early interest in creative engineering and science led him to participate in science fairs, volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, and explore how technical problem-solving could support people’s health.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from the University of Florida, where he majored in Microbiology and Cell Science. He continued at the University of Florida College of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Today, he is the founder and dentist at The House of Dental. His approach begins with listening to what each patient wants and needs, examining the available information, and discussing a plan that fits the individual rather than applying one solution to everyone.
Professional Focus
Planning Care with Technology
Dr. Patel focuses on computer-assisted dentistry and minimally invasive guided surgery. Digital imaging and planning tools can help him study anatomy, explain options, and prepare for treatment before a procedure begins. Whether a patient is considering dental implants, same-day crowns, or cosmetic dentistry, the recommendation follows an examination and a conversation about goals, risks, alternatives, and maintenance.
He is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Beyond the Practice
Family, Travel, and Sports
Outside the office, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his wife and family, traveling, and playing sports. Those Central Florida connections remain part of why caring for neighbors in Winter Park is meaningful to him.
