Dental Implants

Planning Your Replacement Teeth

A consultation includes an examination and the imaging needed to assess the site. The practice uses cone beam CT and computer-guided planning for implant treatment. Ask whether a single implant, an implant-supported bridge, an implant-supported denture, or a full-arch option such as All-on-4® would fit your needs. Some patients need additional treatment before placement.

Placement, Healing, and Restoration

The implant and the visible replacement tooth are different parts of treatment. Healing occurs between stages, and the schedule depends on the site and any additional procedures. The final restoration is designed for your bite as well as appearance. A same-day replacement is not suitable for every case.

Keeping an Implant Healthy

Implants still require daily cleaning and professional follow-up. Gum inflammation, infection, implant failure, or wear of the restoration can occur. Review your health history and maintenance needs before deciding. Follow the individual instructions provided after surgery.

Questions About Dental Implants

Is an implant my only option?

No. A bridge or removable denture may also replace missing teeth. The consultation compares maintenance, treatment time, and the condition of nearby teeth.

What is included in an estimate?

Ask for an itemized plan covering the implant, abutment, crown, and any extra procedures. Current offers and eligibility conditions are listed on the new-patient page.
